I recently built a new PC, and since then, my monitor keeps turning off for about a second multiple times a day. It's not a cable issue since everything is new and securely connected. Sometimes it only turns off a couple of times, but one day it even turned off six times! I'm looking for suggestions on what might be causing this.

When you say your monitor turns off, do you mean you have to hit the power button to turn it back on? Also, could you share the brand, model, and size of your monitor? It might help to try out a different monitor cable too.
Since this started happening after you got your new PC, the issue might be with the ports on your graphics card. It’s possible for cables to have defects even when they’re new, so starting with a different cable might help. If switching cables doesn’t fix it, try connecting a different device, like a laptop. If the monitor still acts up, it could be time for a new one.
Consider getting a shielded HDMI or DisplayPort cable if you haven’t already. Just curious, are you using an IKEA Markus chair? It sounds a bit similar!
