Why Does My Mouse Click Trigger the ‘C’ Key in Valorant?

I've been having a frustrating issue while playing Valorant. Ever since I downloaded a tracker app, whenever I click my mouse three times, it seems to trigger the 'C' key, which causes actions like crouching or triggering abilities unexpectedly. I've tried some troubleshooting, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice would be appreciated!

First off, check your mouse software settings. You might want to reset it to see if that helps. Sometimes the mouse can get mapped to different actions without you knowing, especially if there's overlay software running.

I just tried that, but unfortunately, it didn't fix the issue.

That sounds super annoying! Just for fun, I could set that up as a prank using a tool like AutoHotkey. But seriously, it’s odd a tracker would send user inputs. Have you thought about resetting your PC? It might be a drastic step, but if it keeps bothering you mid-game, it could be worth considering.

I really don't want to reset my PC. I'm hoping to figure out what's causing this before I have to go that route.

It sounds like the tracker app you installed might be the culprit here. Many overlay apps have features that can map mouse gestures, like triggering the 'C' key on a triple click. Try closing the tracker completely to see if the issue persists. If it goes away, look for settings in the app related to mouse gestures or macros. Running it as admin or in compatibility mode might also help. Which specific Valorant tracker are you using? Some are well-known for causing this problem.

I downloaded the tracker when I got Overwolf, and unfortunately, the issue is still there even with the tracker closed. I even tried a different mouse and keyboard, but no luck.
