I recently purchased an HP OMEN O17 gaming laptop, which comes equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor, 32GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070Ti. It's been about a month since I started using it, but whenever I try to play games like Red Dead Redemption 2, the screen freezes unexpectedly. The only solution I've found is to turn the power off and on, which is really frustrating. I've looked into some common issues but nothing seems to explain the problem. What steps can I take to diagnose or fix this freezing issue?

Since it's still pretty new, I'd recommend recording a video of the freezing issue. You can use that as evidence if you decide to get it serviced under warranty. Just keep your receipt handy. Sometimes these issues can be fixed with a software update, so make sure your drivers and Windows are fully updated too!

I actually had a similar freezing issue with my laptop and updating my graphics drivers made a huge difference! Definitely worth a shot!
