I'm experiencing a frustrating issue where my PC completely freezes when I'm playing games, and this has been happening for less than a month. For instance, while playing Palia, the game suddenly freezes. I have logs from my Adrenaline software capturing the freeze events. Sometimes the game will resume functionality after freezing, but then it happens again 20-30 minutes later, and it seems like my graphics driver crashes entirely. The visuals stop but I can still move the mouse, and I know everything is functioning behind the scenes because my friends can still see and hear me on Discord. Strangely, the Event Viewer doesn't show any errors during these crashes. Here's my PC spec in case it's relevant:
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX6700 XT
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800x 8-core
- OS: Windows 11
- Motherboard: B550m Steel Legend
- RAM: 32GB
- DirectX: 12
I've made sure my software and drivers are updated. Any suggestions?

Have you tried overclocking or undervolting your GPU using Adrenaline? Also, have you optimized your CPU with Ryzen Master? Is the freezing issue happening only in Palia, or do you notice it in other applications too? Consider running everything at default settings for a while to see if the problem persists. If it does, try using one stick of RAM in the recommended slot from your motherboard’s manual.

I haven’t done any overclocking or undervolting, and the Adrenaline logs don’t show any power issues with the GPU. The freezing happens in a couple of other games too. I’m wondering if some RAM might be corrupted, but I wasn’t sure if that would cause this kind of issue.
