I'm having a frustrating issue with my Philips smart TV where it keeps turning itself on and off repeatedly without any input from me. It starts with a black screen and then immediately shuts off, only to turn back on again. I've already tried disconnecting it from power for a few minutes, and there are no physical buttons on the TV to control it. I also removed the batteries from the remote, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me resolve this?

Just to clarify, the problem continues even when it's unplugged, right? I was confused there for a moment. If it goes crazy as soon as you reconnect the power, that might indicate a deeper issue.
It sounds like a weird issue, but sometimes gadgets can react oddly to outside factors. I had a similar problem where my TV would randomize itself because of the sunlight hitting a lamp that turned on a nearby device on a timer. If your TV has an infrared sensor, try covering it up with something to see if that stops the cycles.
Is your TV able to connect to apps or a mobile device for remote control? If so, you could give that a shot to see if it behaves differently when controlled through an app instead of the physical remote.
