I've been having an issue with my Windows 11 setup where my SSD spikes to 100% disk usage right after I turn my computer on. This can last anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes, making my PC really slow during startup. Just to note, my SSD is in good health, I have 32GB of RAM, and I'm using an i5-10400 processor. I've already disabled various startup applications and confirmed the disk's health. Does anyone have ideas on what might be causing this problem?

I had a similar issue once, and it turned out to be some software from the motherboard manufacturer that was causing all the disk activity. After I uninstalled it, the problem disappeared. Have you checked out the Task Manager to see which process is using all the disk resources? Also, what's the size of your OS drive and how much free space is left? That can sometimes be a factor too.
Hey! This could be due to the type of SSD you're using. Some SSDs have slower controllers or a small cache, making them struggle at startup with heavy read/write tasks. If it's a lower-end model, that might explain the lag. You should check the specific model and see if there are any known issues or firmware updates available.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll look up the model and see if there are updates. I appreciate it!

It's a 512GB SSD, and I still have around 200GB free. Just shared some screenshots in the comments!
