Why Does My Start Menu Icon Change Between a Penguin and a Star?

I've noticed something odd with my start menu on Linux Mint Cinnamon. Sometimes the icon shows a penguin on the left side, and other times it switches to a star on the right side. Can anyone explain why this happens?

It sounds like it might be related to different user sessions or profiles. Each user can have their own settings, and if the menu icon changes randomly, it could be that there’s a mix-up in your profile or a bug causing it. Have you checked if multiple users are accessing the machine?

I only have myself who uses it. I made just one profile when I installed it about five months ago. It feels more like a bug to me!
