Why Does My User Folder Show 141 GB But Only Display 3 GB of Content?

I'm trying to free up space on my SSD, but I noticed that my User folder claims to have 141 GB stored in it. However, when I actually open the folder, there's only about 3 GB worth of files visible. What could be taking up all that space and how do I find it? Any help would be appreciated!
