My CMF Buds Pro earbuds are about two years old. A month ago, the left earbud would immediately show a low-battery warning and then die after roughly 20 minutes, while the right one worked normally. Now the problem has switched sides: the right earbud gives the warning and dies after about 20 minutes, while the left works fine. Is there a way to fix this, or are the batteries likely worn out?

At around two years old, the batteries are probably reaching the end of their useful life. Since the issue has affected both earbuds at different times, it sounds more like battery degradation than a software setting. You can try cleaning the charging contacts, fully charging both earbuds and the case, then resetting and re-pairing them, but replacement may be the only lasting solution.

That makes sense. I’ll try cleaning the contacts and resetting them first, but I was worried the batteries might just be worn out.
