I've been experiencing a frustrating issue with Safari on my iPad and iPhone ever since the last update. Whenever I log into a website using my saved credentials, a pop-up keeps appearing, asking me to enter the username to save the login details. I thought it might be a temporary glitch, so I input my details for several sites, but the pop-up continues to show up every single time I attempt to log in. Even after I successfully log in with autofill and save the username, if I log out and try to log back in, it prompts me again. I'm currently running iPadOS 26.1 and iOS 26.1 on my devices. Is anyone else having the same issue?

I’ve also noticed this issue on my iPhone 17 Pro. It’s super annoying! Seems like it’s happening to quite a few of us. Hopefully, they’ll sort it out in a future update.
Same here! It’s frustrating having to deal with it every time I log in. I’m not sure if it’s a bug with the newest version or what.
Right? It’s definitely not just you; a lot of people are having the same trouble.
Yeah, I've got the same problem! It started after the last update, and it’s really annoying since I have to keep re-entering my usernames every time I log in. It seems particularly persistent for certain websites. Have you tried deleting and re-adding your saved passwords? That sometimes helps, though it hasn't worked for me completely.
I tried that too, but it didn’t fix anything for me. It's only happening with my server, and all other sites are working fine.
You’re not alone! I called Apple Support, but they didn’t seem to have a solution either. Guess we’re all in the same boat!

Exactly! I just hope it gets fixed soon. It’s a hassle every time I log into something.
