I've noticed that my PC used to lock automatically when the screen went blank from inactivity, requiring me to enter my PIN to access it again. However, after I reinstalled Windows 11, it now just wakes up without requiring any PIN. It still asks for my PIN when waking from sleep mode or after a restart, but I can't find any settings to enable the automatic locking feature again after inactivity. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Windows 11 has switched to a different way of locking the screen. It uses a timer now instead of just locking when the screen turns off. You might want to check your settings and set the lock timer to match your screen timeout. That should bring back the old behavior where it locks when the screen goes blank.
Have you tried Google? I thought I might find a fix there, but honestly, it didn't help much. I was hoping for some real interaction here to figure it out.

Haha, I feel you! I came here for some actual advice too. Google can be so frustrating sometimes!
