Is anyone else frustrated with the lengthy 10DLC registration process just to set up simple internal alerts? My boss wants to receive a text whenever a payout fails, but I really don't want to go through the hassle of EIN vetting and a 14-day campaign review for something as straightforward as a server notification. I created a small wrapper using a pre-verified pipeline that allows me to make a POST request in 60 seconds. It feels like the current carrier regulations are excessive for internal communications. Have others moved to using platforms like Slack instead?

Tell your boss to go with email notifications instead. You can set them up to notify him like a regular text on an iPhone by marking contacts as important. It'll save a lot of hassle!
I totally get your pain! It’d be awesome if they had a simpler way to register phone numbers without needing to jump through all the 10DLC hoops. Just seems silly for something internal.
Have you considered using email-to-text services? Some carriers offer that, so it might just be as easy as sending an email to your boss’s phone.
It’s been one of the most annoying issues I've faced lately too. The vetting seems so random. We had a campaign rejected that mirrored what a major company does exactly — it’s absurd! Meanwhile, spam texts flood my inbox constantly.
If you’re looking for a workaround, try blooio. You won’t need to deal with A2P registrations; you'll be sending iMessages or RCS in no time!

Agreed! Our shared plans are great for that. No need to register; we can just send messages without all that red tape.
