Why is eDiscovery Downloading So Slow from Purview?

Hey everyone! Lately, I've been struggling with downloading large files from the Purview portal. A few weeks back, the eDiscovery export tool made it super quick to download these files using a key, but now it seems I have to do it through the browser, and it's taking forever! The UI has changed a lot, and there's no option for a 'key' anymoreโ€”just a simple 'Download' button. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Thanks! PS: I'm thinking of trying out a download manager to speed things up.

My experience with it has been quite the opposite! The content search and generating review sets have actually been a lot faster than I anticipated. Iโ€™m glad I donโ€™t have to deal with the hassle of ActiveX plugins anymore. Just a heads up, I always use the Edge browser and itโ€™s been smooth sailing for downloads!

I haven't exactly noticed the same issue, but when it comes to larger file sizes, I've experienced that occasionally clicking the Download button doesnโ€™t yield any results at all. This seems to happen mainly with exports that are several GBs. Small exports work fine though. Honestly, I'm a bit frustrated with the changes; it feels like a downgrade overall.

If youโ€™ve switched to the new eCases tool instead of the old eDiscovery, keep in mind that the downloads don't utilize the previous export tool. Personally, I havenโ€™t had too many issues with download speed on my end, though I've only done a few exports with this newer system.

CuriousCat42: I didnโ€™t even see an option to switch back to the old tool!
