I've had an iPhone 16 since February 2025, and its 128GB of storage is already almost completely used. iOS and System Data together seem to take up more than a quarter of the phone's capacity, leaving about 125.5GB used. Is that amount normal, and what could be consuming so much space?

Just to clarify, 125.5GB used means the phone has only a few gigabytes left. If you meant 125.5GB available, then the phone would be almost empty. iOS and System Data do use some space, but they shouldn’t normally account for nearly the entire device. Check the storage breakdown for large apps, photos, videos, downloads, and message attachments. iCloud can back up or sync certain data, but subscribing to it doesn’t increase the iPhone’s built-in storage.
