Why is my 3DMark score lower than average?

I just tried running my first 3DMark benchmark test, and I got a score of 3959, which seems quite a bit lower than the community average of 4200, with the top scores reaching around 4800. I'm wondering if there might be something wrong with my laptop that's affecting my performance. Any suggestions on what to look into?

Honestly, your score isn't too far off. It could just be that others have overclocked their systems or optimized their setups a bit. Also, don’t forget about thermal issues; if your laptop is overheating, that can hurt performance too. Make sure your power settings are optimal, and check for any thermal throttling.

It's pretty normal for scores to vary! Some people have heavily modified their systems, which can be risky if you’re not careful. Plus, benchmarks don’t always reflect real-world performance. If your laptop runs smoothly for gaming and other tasks, that's what really matters! Just keep that in mind when comparing scores.

Thanks for the advice! I just disabled game mode and HAGS, and it bumped my score up to 4400, so that seems to have helped!
