Why is my 64GB RAM only showing as 48GB?

I just upgraded my RAM from 32GB to 64GB using two sticks, but my system is only recognizing 48GB. I'm using an ROG x670e-f motherboard with Corsair Vengeance 64GB 6000MHz CL30 RAM. After checking, I realized I mistakenly installed one 32GB stick and one 16GB stick instead of two 32GB sticks. I should've double-checked the labels. Just want to remind everyone to be careful with RAM upgrades!

Have you given reseating the RAM a shot? It might be worth checking the packaging too, just to make sure you've actually got 64GB like you thought.

Make sure to double-check the sticks you installed. It's easy to mix them up, and they might not both be 32GB like you intended!
