Why is my Asus laptop battery stuck at 99% while charging?

I've noticed that my Asus laptop is charging up to 99% but won't go any higher, and it's got me a bit worried. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Is this a recent issue for you? How long have you had the laptop? Sometimes, just restarting it using Alt + F4 can help refresh the battery readings. Give that a try!

It might just be time for a new battery, but only if this really becomes a consistent problem. I plugged in my charger again and it went from 99% to 100% in just a few minutes.

As long as your laptop is still performing well and you're getting the charge you need, it doesn't sound like a problem to me. If it's working as expected, I wouldn’t stress about it too much!
TechyTim34: Yeah, it definitely still works as I want! I just plugged it in again, and it charged to 100%.

TechyTim34: It's a new thing for me. I actually think it was just my worry; it charged to 100% eventually and everything seems to be working fine now.
