Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to building PCs and just put together my first one. I'm having an issue with my Nvidia GeForce 2080 SUPER TURBO graphics card. Whenever I play games with over 60fps, the GPU temperature shoots up to around 80°C, which I've never experienced before. I recently switched from a 1080p 60Hz monitor to a 165Hz 2K monitor, and that's when I started noticing these high temps. Any advice on what I should do? Thanks for your help!

It sounds like your GPU's a blower model, which typically runs hotter under load. The higher resolution and refresh rate from your new monitor are demanding more from your graphics card, making it work harder than it did before. This can definitely lead to higher temps, so it's not unusual. Just keep an eye on it, but 80°C is generally okay during heavy gaming.
Should I be worried about the temp or just let it be? Would changing the card help?
