Hey everyone! I'm having a bit of a scare with my GPU usage while playing The Sims 4. My PC is about three years old, and I've generally had no issues. I usually don't play too many games, and I hadn't used my PC in a week until now. I recently downloaded a screen recording tool called Outplayed, which automatically records my gameplay sessions. The other day, just 30 minutes into playing, I got a notification from Outplayed saying my GPU usage was way too high, hitting around 86%. Normally, I don't keep track of the GPU usage, but I didn't know this could be a problem. When I exit the game, the usage drops to about 59%. Is this high usage because I'm recording the game or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help!

It's actually normal for GPU usage to be high while gaming, especially if you're running the game on max settings. Many games can push GPU usage close to 100%, so hitting 86% isn't alarming. You might want to look into lowering some settings if you want to reduce usage, but it sounds like everything's working as it should!

Thank you for clarifying! It was kinda nerve-wracking before.
