Why Is My i5 13600K CPU Underperforming in Cinebench?

I'm using an i5 13600K processor with Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 RAM at 3600Mhz and a PRO Z690A DDR4 motherboard, but I'm experiencing significant performance issues. In the Cinebench R23 benchmark, I'm only getting around 9,000 points, whereas I used to score about 23,000. It's really puzzling, and I'm not sure how to start diagnosing the problem. I recently updated my BIOS, enabled Lite Mode to 1, activated XMP, and didn't change anything else. Can anyone help?

It seems like there might be some confusion with the scoring systems in different versions of Cinebench. The older R23 version uses a different points scale compared to the latest one. Have you checked if there are any performance issues in other applications? That could give you a better idea of whether the CPU is actually underperforming or if it's just the benchmark.

Yeah, I ran R23 again and still only got 9k. I'm really not sure what's causing this.
