I've been having a strange internet issue where I can only access popular sites like Google and YouTube, but almost everything else is timing out. I initially thought it might be a DNS problem, as I've seen similar issues discussed. However, I'm experiencing the same issue across all my devices, so I don't think it's related to device-specific caching. Interestingly, some sites I've never visited before, like bbc.com and ign.com, work fine.
When I ran a traceroute, the connection hangs at the same IP linked to my ISP. Since the sites that do load also go through that same IP, I'm starting to think the problem isn't on my end but could be related to my ISP blocking certain pages or not resolving them correctly. Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas?

You should definitely check if IPv4 is working properly. Sometimes issues like this can occur if you're only connected via IPv6.
It sounds like there might be a firewall rule in place that is blocking access to less popular websites. Have you tried using your phone's hotspot to see if that makes a difference? Sometimes ISPs block certain sites, but switching networks can help with troubleshooting.
I've encountered similar issues with my phone where only Google and YouTube would load. I fixed it by toggling airplane mode on and off. It could be worth it to reset your connection or even your router, since the problem seems to be linked to your ISP.
