I've been having some strange issues with my laptop lately. It keeps opening new tabs, changing my default search engine to Yahoo, and occasionally it types random letters and numbers into Google. This all happens out of nowhere and lasts for a minute or two. I swear it types faster than any human could. I'm really puzzled about what's causing this and how I can fix it. Any ideas?

It sounds like moisture might be the culprit. Have you accidentally exposed your laptop to damp conditions at all? That's sometimes a reason for erratic behavior like this.
