Why is my new GPU causing stuttering in games?

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a frustrating issue after upgrading my GPU. I replaced my old Ryzen 7 3700x and RX 580 combo with a Gigabyte RX 9060XT 16GB. I installed it correctly, uninstalled the previous drivers, and installed the new ones. Benchmark tests showed that everything was running smoothly. However, when I tried playing some games like GTA V and Forza Horizon 5, I noticed my FPS would drop unexpectedly. In GTA V, my FPS peaked at 100 but would drop to 60, and in Forza, it was fluctuating weirdly depending on the graphics settings. The situation got worse while playing Minecraft, where I experienced noticeable stuttering, especially while flying. I never had these issues with my old GPU. I've tried a bunch of fixes, including overclocking, reinstalling drivers, adjusting in-game settings, and even rolling back driver updates, but nothing's helped. I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions!

It sounds like you're experiencing CPU bottlenecking, especially since your benchmarks were fine. When you upgraded your GPU, it seems your system might not be tuned for the new hardware. Make sure your chipset drivers, BIOS, and Windows power plans are all up to date. A little tweaking could really help smooth things out!

Okay, that's good to hear! I really want to avoid returning the GPU. Do you have any specific tweaks or adjustments I should try? I'm a bit new to this, so any tips would be super helpful!
