Hey everyone! I recently built my first custom PC at Micro Center a few months ago, and while most things are working well, I've been experiencing some annoying lag. It feels sluggish especially when I move windows around or drag them from the taskbar. I'm not sure if it's my monitor or something else that's causing it. Here are my specs:
- **Monitor**: Several years old Acer Predator with NVIDIA G-SYNC, 240fps.
- **Operating System**: Windows 11 Pro, version 10.0, build 26200.
- **Manufacturer**: Micro Star International Co., Ltd.
- **Model**: MSI (model redacted).
- **BIOS**: 1.A40 (UEFI).
- **Processor**: Intel Core Ultra 9 285K.
- **Memory**: 192GB RAM.
- **DirectX Version**: DirectX 12.
- **Primary GPU**: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, 2560 x 1440 resolution at 240Hz.
- **NVIDIA Driver Version**: 32.0.15.8157 (installed on 2025-10-08).
- **Storage**: Samsung SSD 990 PRO, 1TB with 127GB free space.
Everything seems fine on the DxDiag, with no issues found in display, sound, or input. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you manually installed the NVIDIA drivers? Sometimes the version that comes from Windows Update can be off. If that’s the case, I'd recommend downloading the latest drivers directly from NVIDIA's website and reinstalling them.

I think I did install them manually, not through Windows updates. Do you think I should upgrade my hardware or something?
