Why is my PC crashing while gaming?

I've been experiencing some frustrating crashes while gaming recently. My PC will freeze up, but I can still hear audio and talk to friends on Discord for about half a minute. Then, my monitors turn off and back on, leaving the game screen black and unresponsive, while everything else seems to work fine. I've already reinstalled Windows completely and updated my GPU driver, but nothing has resolved the issue. Here are my specs: 7800X3D CPU, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 7900 XTX GPU, with an 850W Corsair power supply.

It sounds like a potential GPU issue since your audio stays active even when everything else goes dark. I recommend checking the Event Viewer for any signs of a GPU driver crash. You might want to follow a guide to use Display Driver Uninstaller to clean up your current GPU drivers, then reinstall either the latest version or a previous driver that worked for you before this problem started. Here's a helpful guide: [Display Driver Uninstaller Guide](https://www.wagnardsoft.com/content/how-use-display-driver-uninstaller-ddu-guide-tutorial).

When you check the Event Viewer, look under Windows Logs > System for any warnings or errors around the time of the crash. That might give you clues about what's going wrong.
