Why is my PC freezing when switching games, and do I have to force shutdown?

Hey everyone! I recently bought a pre-built PC from Microcenter, which has a 5090 graphics card and a Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor. I've been facing a frustrating issue for the past two weeks where my PC randomly freezes. The freeze seems to happen specifically when I switch between games like Valorant and the BF6 Beta, even though it runs them well otherwise. The only way to recover from the freeze is to force a shutdown and restart my PC. I've already made sure all my drivers and updates are current. Any ideas on what might be causing this and how to fix it?

Hey, have you checked your Event Viewer? It might help you track down what’s causing the freezes by showing any errors happening at the time of the freeze. It’s worth a shot!

This is my first time hearing about Event Viewer. Where exactly should I look for clues in it?
