I'm experiencing really slow internet speeds on my PC, averaging around 15 Mbps on a good day and sometimes dropping to less than 1 Mbps. Meanwhile, my brother, who's just two rooms away, consistently gets 200 Mbps when downloading. I'm confused as to why my connection is so poor compared to his. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

It sounds like you might be dealing with a WiFi issue since you're two rooms away from the router. Have you tried moving your PC closer to the router to see if that improves the speed? Alternatively, using an Ethernet cable for a wired connection can make a big difference. It's definitely worth a shot!

How hard is it to run an Ethernet cable? Does it cost a lot to put it through a wall?
