Why is my phone battery draining so quickly on vacation?

Hey everyone! I don't usually complain about battery issues, but I'm currently on vacation and my phone's battery seems to be draining way too fast. I've been using it a lot for entertainment, locating restaurants, and sightseeing activities like taking photos, videos, and using GPS. Today, I charged my phone twice, bringing it to around 80-85%, and I've only managed about 5 hours of screen time, which feels quite low to me. I previously owned an iPhone 13 Pro that lasted much longer on a single charge, even with 8 hours of screen time. Is anyone else experiencing this? Are there any tests I can run to check if my battery is okay, or should I consider taking it back to the store? Thanks for your help!

You're on vacation, right? You're using GPS, apps for food, and probably taking tons of pics. All that uses a lot of juice! Try charging your battery all the way up next time.

Honestly, using your phone like that is going to drain the battery. Make sure to check your battery settings under 'Battery Health'—if it’s just showing 'Normal', you’re good. Also, see what apps are eating up your battery; that can give you a clue. Just remember, charging to 100% might help with battery life during the day overall!

True! Plus, being on vacation, you're likely bouncing around and hitting different cell towers. That adds to the drain.
