I'm diving into learning about computers and I recently switched to Linux. I'm really enjoying my Framework laptop and feel like I have a powerful setup, but it seems to be running slow. When playing Arma Reforger, I only get around 48 FPS, and when I download using Opera, my speed is just 390 Kbps. My internet provider is Comcast/Xfinity, which isn't great, but my router is just 5 feet away, and I have an Eero mesh network. Can anyone suggest why my laptop is performing like this? Here are my specs: Ryzen 9 7940HS CPU, 48GB DDR5-5600 RAM, a 2TB WD_BLACK SN850X NVMe SSD, and I'm running Linux Mint. Thanks for any insights!

Hey! I have a similar setup and use Comcast too. I'm seeing about 388 Kbps as well, so it definitely seems like a Comcast issue rather than something wrong with your laptop. Your specs are solid, so you shouldn't be struggling with speed like that. I wouldn’t worry about your setup; it’s likely on their end!
For sure, it’s probably not your hardware. I’ve heard a lot of complaints about Comcast’s service in various places too.

Yeah, I agree! Comcast tends to have issues like this. It might be worth checking their service status or seeing if anyone else in your area is experiencing similar problems.
