I started a 50GB export of Mailbox and Sites yesterday at 9 AM. The original estimated time of arrival was 8 hours, but now it's been 30 hours and the ETA is still 7 hours. This is really unusual; I've done larger exports in less time before. I had planned to finish this during the weekend so I could export the PSTs and files to another account before Monday, but that now seems impossible. Is Microsoft having issues with stability, or is this just how Purview works?

Honestly, the whole system is pretty rough around the edges. The ETAs feel about as accurate as watching a file copy dialog. If possible, you might want to consider alternative products. Sharegate has worked well for us, and Veeam has been good for 365 backups and PST restores too. Just a thought!
Have you tried importing an admx file? That can take a while to be available too. Just another layer of fun with Purview!
It's unfortunately pretty standard for Purview. The ETAs are rarely reliable, and exports can end up stalling indefinitely with no clear reason why. So, you're definitely not alone in your frustration!
We are seeing the same slowdowns. I heard there's an internal Microsoft ticket regarding these issues, so they're aware of it at least.
You're not the only one! I had to attempt a 7GB export three times this week before it finally worked. It's frustrating, isn’t it?
I've noticed that Purview has always had a level of clunkiness, but I've seen it get notably worse since that Azure outage last month. Content searches have been failing midway, and there's been a significant delay on some DLP alerts. Not saying the outage is the cause, but it does seem like bad timing.

Classic Microsoft moment, right?
