Why is my RAM causing issues in my laptop but works in others?

I bought a set of 2x16GB RAM sticks for my laptop, and they worked perfectly for about six months. However, my laptop has stopped working now. The strange thing is, both RAM sticks work fine individually in my laptop, and they also work well together in other laptops. They even function normally when paired with my old 8GB stick. So, what could be causing this issue specifically with my laptop?

I hear you! RAM can be really hit or miss sometimes. Since your RAM works in other laptops, it might be worth cleaning the gold contact points. You can try using an eraser or some isopropyl alcohol with a cotton swab to see if that helps with the connection.
