Why is my RAM only running at 4800MHz after upgrading my CPU?

I recently upgraded my CPU from a 9600X to a 9800X3D and I'm using the same 64GB Corsair Vengeance RAM, which is rated for 6000MHz. However, despite enabling EXPO, my RAM is stuck at 4800MHz in Windows. It's showing 6000MHz in BIOS, but not in the operating system. I'm using an Asrock B650 Steel Legend motherboard with BIOS version 3.50, and everything worked perfectly fine with the previous CPU. Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to try setting your RAM speed to slightly less than 6000MHz, like 5900MHz, and see if that helps. Sometimes, longer POST times can be an issue. Also, creating a new BIOS profile with those settings could work; it's helped others in similar situations before!

Quick question: are you using 2x32GB or 4x16GB modules? Have you tried resetting the BIOS entirely and then re-enabling EXPO? Sometimes that does the trick after a boot.

I'm using 2x32GB. I haven't reset the BIOS yet, but I plan to do that soon.
