I'm noticing that my RAM usage never goes above 40%, and with 64 GB of RAM installed, it makes me wonder if my computer is not fully utilizing its potential. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Thanks for any insight!

It sounds like you're simply not running any applications that require more memory. Most systems operate well under 25.6 GB of RAM. The good news is, you’re not experiencing a problem—your system is just managing resources efficiently!
64 GB can be overkill for many users unless you’re doing heavy tasks like video editing or running multiple virtual machines. If you're mainly web browsing or doing light work, your RAM usage will naturally stay low.
That makes sense! I usually just have a few browser tabs open and some documents. I guess I don't need more RAM for that.
