Why is my RTX 3060 GPU underperforming in games?

I'm experiencing some issues with my GPU performance while playing games like Apex Legends and CS2. I have an RTX 3060, and I expected it to handle these games without a hitch, but I'm only getting around 100 FPS on average, with fluctuations between 70 and 140 FPS. I ran a userbenchmark test, and it seems there's something off, but I'm not sure what to do next. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, userbenchmark isn't the best for checking performance issues. It might be worth looking into your GPU drivers or checking if your CPU is bottlenecking the GPU during gameplay.

Make sure your games are up to date and that you're not running any background apps that might be hogging resources. Sometimes even power settings can affect performance.

First off, what's the rest of your system like? Also, I'd suggest not using userbenchmark because it's not very reliable.

Good point! I have a Ryzen 5 5600G, the RTX 3060, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB SSD.
