I recently built a PC using a Ryzen 7700 processor, which should have 8 cores and 16 threads. However, in CPU-Z and HWInfo, it's only reflecting 8 cores and 8 threads. My motherboard is an Asrock B850M Pro A WiFi and I have SMT (Simultaneous Multithreading) set to auto. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks!

Since you already checked the SMT settings, if those don't seem to help, you might want to make sure that you've got the latest BIOS version installed. BIOS updates can sometimes resolve weird issues like this.
Have you checked if X3D Turbo mode is enabled in your BIOS? Sometimes, that setting can affect how your CPU threads are recognized.
You might want to try setting SMT to 'Enabled' manually. Sometimes, just leaving it on auto doesn't do the trick after a BIOS update. Definitely worth a shot!
Unfortunately, I only see options for 'Auto' or 'Disabled'. There's no 'Enabled' option for SMT in my BIOS.

I don’t think that's applicable since my processor isn’t an X3D model. I actually don't even see that option in my BIOS.
