Why is my Ryzen 9 9900x overheating in BIOS?

I'm having an issue with my Ryzen 9 9900x and NZXT Kraken Elite 360 cooler. When I boot it up and check the BIOS, the temperatures shoot up to 110 °C within a minute. I've even reapplied thermal paste and tried using Liquid Metal, but nothing seems to work. Anyone have ideas on what might be going wrong?

Make sure you peeled off the protective plastic from the bottom of the cold plate. It could be blocking proper contact with the CPU. Also, double-check that the pump is connected and actually running. It's crucial for keeping those temperatures down!

Just a heads-up! If you've confirmed that the pump is functioning and you've applied thermal paste correctly, consider checking if the cooler is properly mounted. A loose cooler can lead to issues like these.
