I've done everything I can think of to resolve this issue, but my Lexar SSD NQ100 480GB keeps lagging like crazy. Even after resetting my PC, I'm still getting major performance issues, often referred to as the 'brick of doom and despair.' The SSD appears to be in good health, and I've checked all the cables thoroughly. Despite watching at least six different videos for troubleshooting, nothing seems to work. I've been monitoring the speed, and it currently doesn't even register in MB/s on the task manager.

Did you mention which SSD you're using? I noticed you later said it’s a Lexar NQ100. Have you checked its read and write speeds using specific software, or are you just looking at the task manager? Sometimes more advanced tools provide better insights.
I've seen SSDs jump from low response times to really high ones. A sudden spike could indicate something's wrong with the drive. Have you tried scanning it for errors using any utilities or checking firmware updates?
It sounds like your SSD might be failing. Sometimes, an SSD that is lagging significantly still allows you to use it, but it can be a sign that it's nearing the end of its life. I recommend backing up your data and getting a new SSD just to be safe.
I've only had it for a year, and all the diagnostic apps say it's healthy!

Yeah, it's the Lexar SSD NQ100 480GB. The speeds seem off in task manager, though!
