I've been clearing out space on my SSD, but it feels like it keeps filling up on its own. Just today, I deleted around 20GB of files, and I had about 87GB free. But now, less than an hour later, I've only got 79GB available without downloading or moving any files. What's going on?

It sounds like something might be backing up your files. It's hard to say without knowing more about your setup, but there could be a lot going on behind the scenes.
You should try using WizTree; it can help you figure out what's actually taking up space on your SSD.
Have you tried resetting the WinSxS base? Using an elevated command prompt, you can run a couple of DISM commands to clean it up. Just be aware that this may prevent you from uninstalling certain updates after doing it.
If you're on Linux, some cache files can be regenerated when used, which might be affecting your available space.
Your page file might be consuming a lot of space. If you have many tabs or windows open, consider closing some to see if that helps.
