Why is my TV showing the wrong time for daylight savings?

I have an Insignia TV that's displaying security camera footage, but it's stuck on the wrong time for daylight savings. The correct time displays on the security footage and the TV itself, so I'm not sure where the incorrect time is coming from. Does anyone have any insights on how to troubleshoot this issue? I suspect it might be related to the DVR or NVR box that's connected to the TV, but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

It sounds like the issue might actually be with your security system rather than the TV. Sometimes the time displayed on these systems doesn't automatically adjust for daylight savings time. Check your DVR settings and see if there's an option to enable DST adjustments!

That makes sense! I’ll look at the settings on the DVR to see if I can find anything about that.

In my case, the time on my screen comes directly from the camera feed. It usually doesn’t change for daylight savings unless it's manually set up that way, so it could be similar for yours.
