Why is my wireless keyboard's shift key also acting like backspace?

I'm having a frustrating issue with my wireless keyboard where the shift key is acting as both a shift and backspace. It only happens on my wireless keyboard and not the built-in one. I've even noticed that when I press the left shift key, it outputs a "ù" character instead. I rely on this wireless keyboard because I've got some keys missing on my built-in one. Does anyone know what's going on with this? I'm using Windows, by the way.

I tried cleaning it, but it didn't work! At first it seemed fine after cleaning, but then it just went back to acting up as soon as I started typing again. It really seems like a specific issue with the shift keys rather than an overall hardware problem.
