I recently set up my PC, connecting all the necessary cables, but I've run into an issue where the middle DisplayPort is not functioning. I've tried swapping the cables with the other ports, and they work fine in the other slots, so it's definitely the middle port that's the problem. I'm wondering if I might have missed something while plugging in the motherboard, or could this be a manufacturing defect? For reference, I'm using an AMD Radeon 9070 with 16 GB of RAM, which has three DisplayPorts and one HDMI; everything else works perfectly. Any suggestions? Thanks! 🙂

A quick fix that sometimes works is to leave the DisplayPort cable plugged in, then unplug the monitor's power cable for about 60 seconds. After that, plug it back in while keeping the DP connected. This has helped some users.
It sounds like you might be dealing with a firmware issue, especially since I've seen similar problems arise after Windows updates breaking outputs. It could be worth checking if there are updates for your GPU that might address this.
Have you encountered any specific fixes for that issue, or is it still unresolved?

I'll give that a shot when I get home, thanks for the tip!
