I'm dealing with a frustrating issue in my Horizon 8 VDI setup behind a load balancer. When logging into Windows 11 through the VCenter console, it takes around 3 minutes, but the first login via the VDI portal in the browser drags on for about 8 minutes and often hangs on 'Preparing Windows.' Has anyone encountered this issue before, and how did you fix it? I appreciate any help!

We did optimize our setup with the tool you mentioned, and we also load local profiles. Even without GPO, we're still facing the same problem. It’s really puzzling!
Wow, 8 minutes is pretty extreme! Have you checked if you're using Sentinel One? We had to disable the deep hooking feature because it was causing major delays during login. It sounds like there might be some deeper issues with your setup too, though.
If you haven't already, I recommend running the OS Optimization Tool (OSOT). It's the bare minimum you should do. Also, consider auditing and optimizing your Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and possibly debloating your setup. We’re using FSLogix for app and profile management, and our logins are usually around 30-45 seconds, so it sounds like there's room for improvement on your end.

Yeah, we do have Sentinel One. How can I disable the hook policy override?
