I'm trying to figure out what is limiting my FPS in the latest version of World of Warcraft. The game stays around 25–30 FPS whether I use the lowest or highest graphics settings, and I've already disabled the in-game FPS limits. My PC seems like it should perform better, but I'm not very experienced with troubleshooting hardware. My system has a Ryzen 5 3600, 32 GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16 GB of VRAM. What should I check first to find the bottleneck?

Check your CPU and GPU temperatures while playing. Excessive heat can cause either component to throttle and reduce FPS. Monitoring tools such as Task Manager, Radeon/NVIDIA software, or another hardware monitor can show temperatures and clock speeds during gameplay.
The Ryzen 5 3600 can still run the game, but WoW can become heavily CPU-limited, especially in cities, raids, and busy outdoor areas. If GPU usage stays low and lowering resolution or graphics quality does not improve FPS, the CPU or a specific game setting such as view distance, environment detail, or shadows is probably the limiting factor.
A clean graphics-driver installation is worth trying if the driver is corrupted or an old driver was left behind. Use a reputable driver cleanup tool in Safe Mode, then install the latest NVIDIA driver directly from NVIDIA. Before changing anything, also confirm that the game is using the 5060 Ti instead of an integrated or unintended display adapter.
Open Task Manager while the game is running and check CPU, GPU, memory, and disk usage. Also look at the Processes tab for programs using a lot of resources in the background. If the GPU is barely busy while one CPU core is close to 100%, the processor may be limiting performance rather than the graphics settings.
