I have a GTX 1650 Super connected to an LG 24G411A monitor. FreeSync is enabled in the monitor's settings, but NVIDIA Control Panel doesn't show the option to enable G-SYNC. I'm currently using an HDMI cable. Is there another setting, driver option, or connection type I need to use?

FreeSync and G-SYNC aren’t exactly the same technology, but many FreeSync monitors can work with NVIDIA cards through NVIDIA’s “G-SYNC Compatible” mode. The first thing to try is DisplayPort—on many monitors, adaptive sync only works through DisplayPort, while HDMI supports regular video but not VRR. After switching cables, enable FreeSync in the monitor menu, update the NVIDIA driver, and look under NVIDIA Control Panel > Display > Set up G-SYNC.
A monitor doesn’t need NVIDIA’s dedicated G-SYNC hardware module to use G-SYNC Compatible mode. It does need to support variable refresh rate over the connection being used, and NVIDIA must recognize it as compatible. If DisplayPort still doesn’t make the option appear, check whether this particular monitor model is supported and try enabling the monitor’s Adaptive-Sync or FreeSync setting before opening the NVIDIA Control Panel.

The monitor’s HDMI implementation may not support adaptive sync, so using DisplayPort is likely the missing piece rather than a Windows setting.
