Why Isn’t My 5060 Ti 16GB Running as Well as I Expected?

I recently upgraded from a GTX 1660 to a 5060 Ti with 16GB of RAM, but I'm not seeing the performance boost I was hoping for. I watched a lot of benchmark videos, and they looked impressive, but when I tried games like Spider-Man Remastered and Silent Hill F, the performance didn't feel much different from my old card. I did update my drivers and checked for CPU bottlenecks; I'm using an i5-10400F. In Valorant, my FPS calculated over 300, but I only got around 160 in-game. Could this be due to not having enough RAM? I'm feeling pretty disappointed with the GPU's performance.

Your i5-10400F is a few years old now, and it’s definitely a budget/mid-range CPU. It might struggle to keep up with your new GPU, especially in demanding titles. You're probably not getting the full potential out of the 5060 Ti.

To figure out if RAM is the issue, we need to know what you have. Can you share your RAM's size and speed? That would help identify if an upgrade is needed.
