Why Isn't My Keyboard and Mouse Working in Windows 10 After Moving My PC?

I recently moved my computer, and now my keyboard and mouse only work in the BIOS and Windows recovery mode. When I get to the Windows 10 login page, they stop responding entirely. I tried resetting my PC, but it gives me an error and doesn't do anything. I also can't revert to a previous version of Windows because the same problem happens. I've looked up solutions for BIOS settings online, but nothing seems to help. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?

You might want to go for a clean install using a USB drive. You can use a live OS USB (like Hiren's or Ubuntu) to check if your keyboard and mouse work there, and it’s a great way to back up any important files before you start fresh.
