Since Windows 11 came preinstalled, look for a boot entry named “Windows Boot Manager” rather than the raw NVMe model number. BIOS often lists the Windows boot entry instead of the SSD itself. If neither the drive nor Windows Boot Manager appears, verify the M.2 connection and update the motherboard BIOS if necessary.
First check whether the NVMe appears anywhere under the BIOS storage or NVMe information pages. If it’s listed there but missing from boot priorities, the system may not be seeing a valid UEFI boot entry. Make sure the boot mode is set to UEFI, check that Windows Boot Manager is enabled or selected as the boot option, and confirm the drive is fully seated in its M.2 slot. If the drive doesn’t appear in the storage section at all, power down and reseat it, then check the motherboard manual for any M.2 slot-sharing limitations.
