I'm currently trying to use my TV as a monitor for my PC since I don't have a monitor available. Despite being connected, nothing appears on the screen. Are there any simple solutions to get this working?

Since you said you're using a regular HDMI cable connected to the motherboard, that might be the problem. Verify if you have a detached graphics card; if not, you'll need that to use an external display effectively.

Make sure you're connecting the HDMI cable to the right port. If you're using a dedicated graphics card, the cable needs to go there, not to the motherboard. Also, double-check if you're using the correct HDMI input on your TV; try switching to another port if you haven't already.

If your setup involves a dedicated GPU, make sure you're plugged into that instead of the motherboard. The motherboard output won't function without integrated graphics, so that could be your issue.

Can you provide a bit more detail about your setup? Was it working properly before or is this a fresh build? Knowing the specifics can help figure out what might be going wrong.
