I just assembled my first PC, but I'm currently waiting on my RAM sticks due to a shortage. I turned on the PC and noticed that while the fans are spinning, the RGB lights aren't functioning. I've connected the fans (Phanteks D30-120) to the three-pin 5V RGB headers. Is this something to worry about, or do I need to use software to turn on the RGB? Just for reference, my water cooler's RGB worked immediately. Also, is it normal for my monitor to show a 'no signal' message since I don't have RAM installed yet? I want to make sure everything's okay while I wait to set up Windows later on. Thanks!

Your PC won't boot if you don't have RAM, so you won’t get any display output or be able to install Windows without it. Until you get your RAM sorted out, there's really no point in troubleshooting the RGB issue. Just wait until you can fully boot your system.

Thanks! So that means I can't really check if the RGB works properly until I install the RAM anyway?
