Why isn’t my taskbar responding?

I've been having trouble with my taskbar for a couple of months now, especially the action center which just won't respond. Normally, a quick restart would do the trick, but this time it hasn't helped. Now I can't connect to the internet and I'm stuck. Can anyone help? I'm using an HP EliteBook with a Core i7 vPro processor.

You might want to try restarting Windows Explorer from the task manager. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open it, find 'explorer.exe,' right-click and select 'Restart.' That usually solves most of the taskbar issues!

This sounds really annoying! Restarting Windows Explorer can fix a lot of problems, but if that doesn't help, you can also try running 'sfc /scannow' in the command prompt as an admin. If the issue persists, consider toggling your network adapter too. Sometimes, creating a new user profile might clear up these glitches unexpectedly!

I managed to fix it by just restarting Windows Explorer. Thanks a ton!
